I practice psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. My practice treats children, adolescents and adults. I am also an author and sociologist. I have a BA, B.Litt (Hons), Dip.Ed, MA and PhD from the University of Melbourne. My clinical and theoretical training in psychoanalysis is with the Australian Centre for Psychoanalysis (ACP). Psychoanalytic training is an ongoing process. It involves clinical and theoretical training, a personal analysis, clinical supervision and practice. This means continuing to learn and develop over many years through study and research and participation in international forums and seminar programs.

My academic background ensures that I have an awareness and a sensitivity to the cultural, gendered, social and historical forces that shape our lives.
